Detail Job PurposeThe Role manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Recruitment, departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, Educational QualificationGraduate in any discipline Experience5- 8 years (Minimum) in relevant role Reporting toManager - HR LocationMumbai - Nariman Point Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment/New Hire Process Participating in recruitment efforts Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process Collecting employment and tax information Ensuring background and reference checks are completed Preparing new employee data Overseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentation Orienting new employees to the organization (setting up a designated log-in, workstation, email address, etc.) Conducting benefit enrolment process Administering new employment assessments. Serving as a point person for all new employee queries Reviewing job descriptions for all employee at regular intervals and updating them in consultation with the respective managers. Maintaining the skill inventory for all the employee Payroll and Benefits Administration - Processing payroll, which includes ensuring Attendance & Leaves are tracked in the system Answering payroll questions Facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors Participating in benefits tasks, such as claim resolutions, reconciling benefits statements, and approving invoices for payment Record Maintenance Maintaining current HR files and databases Updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records Maintaining records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions Performing payroll/benefit-related reconciliations PF, ESIC, Gratuity Issues Employee Relations Ensure strong Employee Relations by creating various communication forums for employees Welfare and Engagement of employees. Handling, Grievances if any, HR Miscellaneous activities on timely basis PMS & Training experience will be preferred Skills & Knowledge Good communication & Good interpersonal skills Excellent organization and problem solving skills.
